WELCOME TO PICKER’S GOT TALENT!
We are excited to be hosting another year of our highly anticipated Band Competition Event! This time, we let YOU decide who will be competing LIVE onstage at Pickin’ On Picknic 2024. First place winner scores a Saturday spot on Main Stage at Pickin’ On Picknic 2025 plus a recording session at Blue Lotus Recordings.
FIRST ROUND
Our first round winners were determined May 15th through our first ever virtual band competition. 16 bands submitted their videos and sure brought the heat! You casted over 4,000 votes and decided which four bands will move on to the Final Round. Thank you to all who participated making this one nail biter of a competition!
FINAL ROUND
We have a spectacular Final Round in store for your viewing pleasures held LIVE onstage at Pickin’ On Picknic 2024 – Saturday, July 13th @ 12pm. You don’t want to miss these up and coming talented bands! Winners will be selected by 6:00 pm Saturday, July 13th and announced on the Pickin’ On Picknic Main Stage before our Headliner.
Our 4 finalists will be competing for some pretty sweet prizes:
- 1st Place Prize: A slot on the Pickin’ On Picknic 2025 Mainstage & a recording session at Blue Lotus Studio, St. Louis’ favorite recording studio voted by Riverfront Times
- 2nd Place: GA Tickets to Pickin’ On Picknic 2025 (1 per band member)
- 3rd Place: Pickin’ On Picknic 2024 Merch Bundle

MEET OUR FINALISTS
FINAL ROUND DETAILS
If You are Selected to Compete Onstage:
- All selected band members will be provided with full festival passes to Pickin’ on Picknic 2024 including plus ones.
- Hospitality provided for band members only Saturday, July 13th.
- Bands must be available and ready to perform at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13th.
- Any band that was previously booked at this festival is ineligible to enter.
- Bands competing may not have musicians who are performing at this festival as members of competing band.
- You will perform around a single microphone and base amp.
2024 Band Competition Schedule:
11:00 am on Saturday, July 13th at the River Stage: Band Meeting
12 p.m. on Saturday July 13th: Band Competition begins
Bands are allotted no more than 15 minutes for competition performance. Going over will count against your score.

Criteria our Judges will be Judging On:
Planning/Preparedness – 20%
Originality – 30%
Interaction with audience – 10%
Quality of performance – 20%
Presentation – 20%
