Formed in 2018, Barnum Jack seeks to amplify the legacy left behind by artists like Flatt & Scruggs, Larry Sparks, and Del McCoury. Playing music that honors the roots of traditional bluegrass, Barnum Jack (whose name is taken from Stanley Brothers song "The Girl Behind The Bar") came together after Sam Avery (guitar, vocals), Sam Aubuchon (mandolin, vocals), and Chad White (banjo, vocals) all realized their shared appreciation for the early bluegrass pioneers. The trio soon after brought in Will Miskall (bass, vocals) and Jackson Ramsey (fiddle, vocals) to round out the quintet. Barnum Jack made their official debut in 2024 releasing their self-titled album to airwaves all across the world. With their profound appreciation of the bluegrass origins, and quick-witted stage antics, Barnum Jack continues to dazzle audiences all over.
